Even though Steve and Joanna graduated with the same BFA in Illustration, their artistic interests have led them down very different paths.
Steve has spent the last 10 years in the 2D and 3D animation industry, working on productions such as Disney’s Lilo and Stitch and Brother Bear, and has spent the last five years in the commercial animation field. He also is an accomplished Flash animator, as well as being proficient in Adobe Photoshop, SoftImage XSI, Aftereffects, Z Brush and Painter. In addition to animation, he enjoys all aspects of film preproduction, including storyboarding, concept development, character development and backgrounds. When he wants to cut loose and relax, he can usually be found gesture drawing, painting or sculpting.
Joanna’s love of horses and wildlife has led her to focus on a fine art and illustration career. Her primary mediums are oil, watercolor and scratchboard, but recently she has begun working again in gouache and graphite as well. She enjoys working with clients to create the perfect portrait of their beloved pets, and travels extensively to photograph horse shows and wildlife across the country. In addition to creating her own work, she is also an Adobe Photoshop specialist and giclee printer, and creates limited edition giclee prints of her own work as well as producing quality prints for other artists.
Steve and Jo have also combined their efforts in creating murals, children's books, greeting cards and various illustration projects. But we don't limit ourselves to just that, if you need something special just give us a shout. We'd be happy to talk to you!
